I like New Year - it's the time for family, it's a time for friends, it's the time to get a rest.我很喜欢过年的气氛。阖家团圆，亲友小聚，其乐融融。 When I think about 2021 across the world, my main memory is of doctors and nurses working very, very hard to care for patients, to care for their fellow human beings very often at their own risk.回顾2021疫情危机当下，世界各地的医护人员，以生命赴使命，全力照护每个患者，用自身安危换取全人类的康健。 And I see them tired, and I see them worn out. And there's too much work for them to do. In a sense there's always been too much work for doctors and nurses to do. But I think, last year, it went a bit far.医护人员们的工作强度大，时间长，常常身心俱疲。虽说医护人员工作繁重是“医家常事”，但我想，去年，他们所承受的太多太多了。 Thinking about the year ahead, those same challenges are still there.展望2022，同样的挑战仍然在那。 Whilst we're getting a grip on COVID, there's still all the other stuff that was there already. All the NCDs, cancer, and our ageing population, which every country on the planet is facing as a challenge.即使疫情逐渐得到控制，但是人类依然在全球公共卫生安全领域面临着各种不同的挑战，例如老龄化、慢性病和癌症等等。 We were very successful as a technology company. We were able to use A.I. to help bring out the features of COVID, and help our doctors and nurses focus on the right areas.作为全球领先的智慧医疗专家，在过去的两年多里，我们建立了疫情控制趋势预测；AI新冠肺炎症状识别的人工智能信息技术平台，助力医护人员提供医疗卫生管理和服务的新模式。 I think that's gonna be the story for 2022. How can we use technology to ease that burden on the doctors and nurses.2022年是我们变革全球数字医疗的一年，我们该如何通过创新科技来减轻医护人员的负担。 And I think a measure of our success in 2022 won't be how much A.I. we've written. Won't be how many cancer detecting features have we drawn out.成功有很多标准和定义。但是对我来讲，2022年，成功不是我们的人工智能有多先进，也不是在癌症早筛方面取得多大的成就。 It will be how many doctors say "that helped" , "that helped me care for the patient".而是我们如何用科技帮助更多的医护人员，让他们脱口而出：“这真的帮助到了我”，“帮我为患者提供更加有温度的医疗”。 It will be how many nurses say, "you've given me more time with the patients", "I’ve got more time".让更多护士提起：“是你们让我有更多的时间来照顾患者”，“更多的时间陪伴患者”。 Ultimately, it will be how many lives do we save and how many lives do we improve.拯救生命是我们一直不变的初心，也是我们所一直前进的目标和动力。
